Angela Ockenden

Senior Associate

Angela Jane Ockenden LL.B. (Hons) graduated in 1980 and was admitted to the Supreme Court of Tasmania in 1981.  Since then Angela has worked as a solicitor for Savings & Loans Credit Union (now Mystate) and in various Hobart law firms until commencing at Ogilvie Jennings in October 2004.

Angela specializes in all areas of commercial and property law including wills, estates, Conveyancing, partnerships, company and business arrangements, acquisitions and sea fisheries.

Angela has had a long term involvement with hockey as a player, coach and administrator.  She has represented Tasmania at junior and senior levels and has had Australian representation.  She also works as an ABC sports commentator for hockey.  Angela still plays hockey and is a member of the Northwest Graduates Hockey Club and an active hockey volunteer.

Angela is a keen masters rower and is a member of the Buckingham Rowing Club.

Angela serves as a member and Chairperson of Football Federation Tasmania’s Tribunal.
