Nic graduated from the University of Tasmania with a Bachelor of Economics and a Bachelor of Laws. He completed his Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at the Centre for Legal Studies in Hobart and was admitted to both the Supreme Court of Tasmania and the High Court of Australia.

Prior to joining Ogilvie Jennings Nic had clerked at law firms in Hobart and Sydney while working part time in Taxation. Nic practices Family, Industrial and Criminal Law.

Nic has significant experience various Courts in Tasmania as well as numerous mediation forums.

Nic initially began practicing in Family Law which gave him the opportunity to develop his advocacy and negotiation skills that he applies to his Industrial related disputes, acting for both employees and employers. Nic enjoys learning about small business and enterprise in Tasmania.

Nic is very interested in providing legal advice to clients prior to a dispute arising and has a particular interest in giving succinct advice to employers regarding how they can avoid disputes in the first instance.

Outside of practice, Nic enjoys financial markets with an interest in policy as well as local music events and travelling.
