Richard graduated from the University of Tasmania with a law degree in 1986. He has been a partner since 1998. Richard initially worked in commercial law, including a period lecturing in business law, before specialising in civil litigation in 1994. He regularly appears as counsel in civil courts and tribunals.
Richard is a member of the Tasmanian Bar Association, Australian Plaintiff Lawyers Association and Tasmanian Medico-Legal Association. He has also been a member of the Tasmanian Rugby League Tribunal and Appeals Tribunal.
Outside the law, Richard's interests include tennis, trout fishing and motorcycling. |
