Sarah Dowd
Sarah joined Ogilvie Jennings in February 2023 after moving to Hobart and working for another firm since early 2021.
Sarah previously worked in the Northern Territory following her admission as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of the Northern Territory in 2017 and her admission to the High Court of Australia in 2019.
Sarah graduated from the University of Adelaide with a Bachelor of Laws in 2016, following her graduation with a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Politics and International Studies in 2015.
Sarah predominantly practices in the area of Family Law, though whilst in the NT she practised in both family and criminal law. Sarah appears regularly in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia.
Whilst in the NT, Sarah was elected to the role of president of the NT Young Lawyers Committee and was the Territory representative of the Law Council of Australia’s Young Lawyers Committee.
